Rotating blades for sharp cutting edges

 

The Fruit Cutter e-line makes use of rotating blades to avoid forcing the fruit through the cutting knives. The pieces of fruit are placed in a flat tray. Two stainless steel guards keep the fruit in place when it’s being cut. The fruit will be cut lengthways first. After the tray rotates 90 degrees the fruit is cut across. The Fruit Cutter can also be set up to cut in one direction to make fingers or slices.

 

Improved Shelf life

 

Due to the cutting action of the rotating blades, almost no pressure is exerted on the fruit; it retains more of its juice. Once the fruit has been cut into pieces, the tray will be carefully emptied on a conveyor belt. This way the fruit is not damaged at all and is ready to be weighed and packed.
