Melon processing machines

Melons have soft and juicy flesh that needs to be handled carefully. Several machines for processing melons have already been included in our machinery portfolio.

The Fruit Cutter e-line cuts melon (and other fruit) into pieces 20 or 25 mm wide. This machine uses a driven blade system and cuts the melons quickly and efficiently with minimal product damage and a consistent quality of the final product. Because cutting takes place both parallel and radially, there are hardly any thin slivers (so little product loss). Almost all pieces are of approximately the same volume due to the combination of parallel and radial cutting.

If you would like square cubes, the Melon Dicer is a product you will want to know more about. The dicer processes pre-peeled, and optionally deseeded, melons into uniform cubes.

Processing unpeeled (water)melon into uniform wedges is possible with our Watermelon Wedger.
